I woke up about 9 or 9:30. Dh has the day off (he was already scheduled off) and got up w/ the baby at 8:30. I got up w/ him at 4:30. So dh let me sleep in.
Then the kids ate, got all their snow gear on and went ice skating on our road in front of the house. It's a solid sheet of ice.
Now they are inside taking a break and drinking hot chocolate. I am sure once they're warm they'll go outside and go at it again.
I'm about to hit the shower then give the bay bay a bath and put him down for his nap and snuggle on the couch w/ a thick blanket by the (fake) fire place and watch a movie.

What a day. After the kids came in from outside and had hot chocolate we ate lunch. I made fettuccinni alfredo and we had shrimp cocktail and marinated mushrooms for appetizers.
After we went to the grocery store. There must have been an accident on the interstate cause all the traffic was redirected through Brazil. Yuck with the icy roads. I got stuck on the ice for about 3 minutes. Trying to go at a stop sign and wheels just kept spinning and we weren't going anywhere.
We got home and while tony unpacked the groceries, i got dinner on our plates. We had a crockpot roast w/ all the fixings
After dinner we cleaned up and made peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, the dough for the cutout cookies (we're doing those monday) and banana bread.
Finally we are able to relax. Here are some pics of baking time.
